One of the most significant means by which one can grow their faith and understanding of scripture is through debate. Truly the first to plead his case seems right, Until another comes and examines him (Proverbs 18:17). It’s important to have our views challenged and to examine our doctrine to properly respond to these challenges. The Unbelieveable Broadcast hosted by Justin Brierly is always exploring various views on theological themes through debate and dialogue. In this episode, Daniel Goepfrich and Chris Date debate the Premillennial and Amillennial approaches when considering the return of Christ.
Awhile back I had posted a link to an ongoing debate between Dr. Geoffrey Kirkland representing Premillennialism, Moses Flores representing Amillennialism and Bojidar Marinov representing the Postmillennial position. In a recent comment, brother Flores has reminded me that the debate is still going strong and this post is just a reminder to our readers that this debate is still going on. Take a look!
A brother by the name of Stephen (who hosts a blog called Four Men Proclaiming the One Hope) recently posted a series of three videos dealing with eschatology. The participants make the case for amillennialism, premillennialism, and postmillennialism (Stephen himself defends postmillennialism). I wanted to make sure that all our readers had an opportunity to be informed about this interesting discussion.
There is an interesting debate over at True Declination Ministries on the three main millennial positions between Dr. Geoffrey Kirkland representing Premillennialism, Moses Flores representing Amillennialism and finally Bojidar Marinov representing the Postmillennial position. The written debate is in its beginning stages and will continue with further posts in the near future. This is definitely worth a read!
